How To Make Bubble Tea

Now that we all know all about bubble tea and boba and a short history about however this distinctive Taiwanese drink came to be, let’s find out how to make one by ourselves.

1 PREPARE THE TEA FIRST.

The first thing you would like to do, before you are doing the rest, is prepare the tea. You don’t need fancy or expensive  tea. However, you need a very strong ( black )  tea.

To accomplish this, bring close to half-dozen cups of water simply to a boil. take away from heat and add your tea bags and granulated sugar . For this recipe, i added about one tablespoon of sugar per glass of bubble tea. Feel free to add more or less to fit your own personal style and preference.

Allow your tea to cool down a bit.

If you’re worried about  time and you would like your bubble tea as presently as attainable you'll either prepare the tea earlier than time or transfer the steeping tea to the icebox to hurry up the cooling method. you would like to let your tea steep for a minimum of 15-25 minutes.

2 PREPARE THE BOBA (TAPIOCA PEARLS)

Since we’re using the quick-cooking tapioca pearls, there’s no have to be compelled to make them before time. In fact, you don’t need to make them before time otherwise you risk them drying out and stiffening.

So, about 15 minutes before you intend to serve your bubble tea, bring small low pot of water to a boil. Add the boba and stir well to stop them from clumping and projected along. Allow the boba to cook for about 5-7 minutes.

They should be floating on the surface.

Drain and rinse below cold water – don’t worry, they won’t fall aside. you'll transfer them back to the first pot or to a clean serving bowl.

3 ASSEMBLE YOUR BUBBLE TEA

The final part :

Grab 4 glasses (any glass will work, simply make sure they’re massive enough to carry or so a pair of cups or so) and divide the cooked boba between them. Fill every glass with ice and pour or so one – 1 1/2 cups room temperature (black) tea into each. Add about 2-3 (or more) tablespoons of milk or half-and-half to every glass and stir well to mix.

Taste for sweetness. Is it sweet enough?

I like to add a bit buffer to add further sweetener simply just in case. After all, it’s higher to possess the choice to feature a lot of, as it’s just about not possible to require it away once you’ve added  it in there.
